NERETVA RIVER DELTA
Full Day Tour
The Neretva River Delta is a unique area of Croatia-a vast marshland abundant in flora and fauna sheltering hundreds of birdlife species.To get a better idea of this richness,variety and beauty of the landscape,we shall visit the excavations of ancient Narona (ramparts,temples,forum) in the town of Vid, that were covered by the river mud for centuries.Finally we shall take a sail along backwaters in a small boat(typical for the area), and finish our tour by a tasty lunch in a local

DUBROVNIK CITY TOUR

We continue with the walking tour of the city, which is one of the UNESCO-s List of World Patrimony due to its exceptional beauty and its rich cultural heritage.This ancient town, surrounded by strong ramparts and fortresses, is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces, scrupulously preserved over the centuries. CANOE SAFARI
Full day tour
This "river" adventure takes us to the most exciting karst areas of Hercegovina. The Trebizat river is a very well-known and the beautiful river of the Adriatic drainage basin, with its clean and warm water, beautiful canyons and magnificent waterfalls. Experienced canoeists-will teach us how to drive the canoes during the navigation. After a short instructional lecture we continue down our "river path" and the river, so calm and quiet at the beginning, now becomes faster and more exciting. In the afternoon, somewhere downstream, astop will be made so we can relax, enjoy the beauty of the landscape, swim in the clear water and have a barbecue lunch. Relaxed and refreshed, we resume our paddling to Struga to complete our river adventure.Sportswear and swimwear recommended. Passport is obligatory. This tour is not recommended to non-swimmers. |
ISLAND OF KORCULA

The island of Mljet is one of the loveliest and most densely wooded islands in the Adriatic. A part of the island has been declared a national park, whose main attractions are two salt-water lakes-Veliko jezero and Malo jezero(the Great Lake and the Small Lake),with an islet in the Great Lake with a 12th-century Benedictine Monastery. We shall take a boat ride to the islet of Sv. Marija (St. Mary), and pass some time enjoying a pleasant stroll through dense pine woods, swimming in the lovely saltwater lake or visiting the convent. MOSTAR
Full day tour
A boat ride across the Korcula Channel and along the Pelješac peninsula. We continue through vineyardes and olive groves, scenic villages, past the small town of Ston, known for its salt and oyster cultivation, towards the Adriatic Highway and the picturesque Neretva River delta. Driving through the river valley we reach Mostar, where we shall be met by a local guide for the sightseeing of old town. During the Ottoman Empire the town was an important trade centre, and
the traces of that period are visible even today. In the town we shall visit its highlights, such as the well-known stone bridge, some parts of the old Turkish Bazaar, the great Mosque and a typical Turkish house. After the city tour, time at leisure for shopping and lunch. Upon departure from Mostar a short visit of Pocitelj- a picturesque town rich in impressive oriental architecture.

PELJESAC WINES AND VINEYARDS

Then the tour continues up to Dingač, where a photo-pause will be made,followed by a traditional lunch in Prizdrina with the Bartulovic family, accompanied by good wine, and afterwards we con tinue on to the village of Ponikve to visit the Milos family wine-cellar. THREE ISLANDS CRUISE
Full day cruise
This cruise takes us to the Elaphite Islands for a visit to the three largest islands in the group:Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud. Ruins of former patrician summer residences are scattered along wooded slopes of the islands. A short stop will be made on the islands of Sipan and Kolocep, followed by a trip to Lopud where we shall visit the 15th century church of St. Mary and the local musem. Time at leisure in Lopud before our return. |
